Official Convention Call for the 36th International
Convention.
The convention will be held in Chicago, Illinois, the
labor city of the United States, at the Hyatt Regency
Chicago on East Wacker Drive. The theme for this convention
is “Lessons Learned, New Vision for
the Future”. All general convention
sessions will be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
Invited guests include Senator Barack Obama of Illinois,
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, Senator
Emil Jones, Senate President of Illinois, Congressman
Bobby Rush, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Sr., Secretary of
State Jesse White and others.
